Hall B: Etruscan and Roman finds
The small room on the right holds some Etruscan and Roman finds such as the votive depository of the 4th century B.C., bronze and gold jewellery of the 1st and 2nd century B.C., coins of the times of St. Benedict, from the reigns of Emperors Justus and Justinian and of King Totila who came to visit St. Benedict, a bread weighting scale which, according to tradition, was used at st. Benedict's time: it was used to weight the daily quantity of bread to be distributed to each monk; encopia of the 7th century, i.e. devotional oriental Crosses used to keep the relics of martyrs.
