Hall I: Benedictine sculptures and paintings


Small fragments of paintings from the 11th and 12th century Montecassino School and sculptures originating from the monastic environment are exposed in this room, such as the high-relief with St. Benedict, the work of the Cassinese monk Fra Celso (1448).
